Glyfada is the southern suburbs of Athens and is a picturesque coastal area, which is located 18 kilometers from the center of the Greek capital. This area is considered the most densely populated in all of Greece, numbering about one hundred thousand people. The city of Glyfada is located on the shores of Saronicikos Bay, at the foot of Mount Ghimetti. 25 kilometers from the city is an international class airport - Eleftherios Venizelos (El. Venizelos).
In the east, the Glyfada area is bordered by the now inactive old airport, and the Gulf is washing the western part. In the southern part of the city are the mountains of Voula and Vari, and in the north - the mountains of Agruopoli and Kroria. Glyfada has its own seaport with a beautiful marina.
